Choice, control and comfort

There’s no shame in taking things a bit slower in this rewarding and deservingly restful season of life. It also doesn’t mean you have to give up the things you love doing.

Maybe you love sharing tea and stories with your loved ones—but you need some help setting up the space. Or maybe you still enjoy growing herbs from back home and preparing traditional dishes, but reaching for utensils and bending while gardening has become a challenge. With home modifications like handrails and adjustable benches, your space becomes easier to navigate and you don’t have to give up the lifestyle you love.

No matter whether you just need a hand connecting with your local community to do your weekly grocery shop or attend important cultural festivals, or need ongoing support to manage medications and conditions, this is support that helps you maintain your independence so that you can live life to the fullest.

Our home care services include:

Personal care

Community participation

Transport assistance

Domestic assistance

Mobility assistance

Home modifications

Not sure where to start? We are here to help!

What is home care?

in-home-care Helping Solutions OSAN Ability

If you’re finding you can’t do the things you used to be able to do, your first step doesn’t have to be immediately moving into a residential facility (there’s plenty of other options available before this stage!)

A popular choice is support at home services, which support you to live as independently as possible in your own home. With as much or as little support as you desire, you can still cook, garden, entertain, listen to music, and do all the things that living in your own space and community offers.

This option connects you to our kind and caring team of carers and nurses, who can provide drop-in supports and connect you to allied health partners, so that you can maintain your freedom and lifestyle in your local community.

Why choose Helping Solutions?

Our carers are trained by our highly experienced, in-house Registered Nursing Team so that they put your health and wellbeing first, and must pass at least 13 medical competency assessments before they can assist with health needs.

From the safe manual handling to administration of medication, to knowing how to assist with more advanced medical conditions like dementia, dysphagia and palliative care needs, our team offers more than just a helping hand getting you around—they provide personalised and tailored support that ensures the care needs of each individual (while supporting a person-centred approach to care).

CALD‑tailored support at home

With a frontline team that represents a wide range of cultural backgrounds, we understand that care is personal and deeply connected to culture and tradition.

Our CALD‑tailored support at home services ensure that you truly feel at home, surrounded by carers who speak your native language, can help prepare your traditional cuisine, and understand your way of doing things in the home and community.

Inclusive, creative and connected care

We’re dedicated to supporting individuals to live active, fulfilling lives—whether through art workshops, jam sessions, relaxed sports activities or competitive games nights. Individuality is celebrated and participation is encouraged for every individual receiving care from our team.
