Our team of registered nurses are available full-time to ensure you receive regular high-level support when you need it.
What we do?
Our highly qualified medical staff can assist with:
- Trouble eating, drinking, or swallowing
- Care and planning to help you breathe
- Help with nutrition
- Diabetes management
- Assistance with maintaining continence or assistance with toileting
- Regular skin, wound and pressure care
- Help to monitor and manage seizures.
In addition to our nursing team, your specially trained support workers will deliver individualised care, with time taken to ensure your specific needs are looked after.
Our team is experienced in nursing and supporting participants living with health conditions such as motor neuron disease (MND), dementia, multiple sclerosis (MS), cancer, epilepsy, and diabetes.
How we do?
Our registered and enrolled nurses regularly perform procedures for
- Complex bowel care
- Enteral feeding support and PEG rig
- Dysphasia support and mealtime management plans
- Stoma support
- Ventilator and tracheostomy support
- Urinary catheter support (including suprapubic catheter)
- IV drug administration and subcutaneous injections
- Medication management including Schedule 8 drugs
- Palliative end-of-life care
- Complex wound care.
The nursing team also ensures our support workers are trained in the different types of equipment you need, the appropriate use of your equipment, as well as your specific needs and requirements.
